The GR Supra GT500 was developed in accordance with GT500 class regulations as a replacement for the LEXUS LC500 which flourished in three seasons from 2017 to 2019. With the streamlined car design of the roadgoing GR Supra, this racing car features a carbon monocoque frame, dedicated aerodynamic components and transmission, plus a 2,000cc inline 4-cylinder direct injection turbo-charged engine “RI4AG.”

Supra Trooper
The smooth-running Toyota Supra enjoys excellent popularity, and has seen significant success in the racing arena. This 1/10 R/C kit recreates the Supra on a thrilling drift chassis unit. The body of the model accurately depicts the Supra form in polycarbonate, with side mirrors and rear wing recreated using separate parts. An extra bonus comes with the carbon pattern decal sheet, which is included to give a further air of customization to the bonnet and rear wing. So let's get drifting!

Adaptable & Balanced TT-02 Chassis Drift Version
Enjoy the thrill of drifting with this specially tuned drift spec version of the TT-02 chassis. The chassis also features drift spec parts such as 24mm width drift tires (fitted to stylish matte-finish metal-plated wheels), and CVA shock units on the 4-wheel double wishbone suspension. Full ball bearings, an aluminum motor heat sink, and a sport-tuned motor come as standard. Of course, the chassis retains the original TT-02's excellent drivability, ease of maintenance, and adaptability.

Take a Trip Back in Time to 1967!
The distinctive rounded, fun form of the Volkswagen Beetle (Type 1) is a familiar sight. The rear wheel drive car is powered by a rear-mounted flat 4 engine and while it has a no-frills interior, its reliability has endeared it to people across the world. In time, the car would also spawn the "New Beetle", a car sold from 1997 which evoked the Beetle Type 1's original body. More than 21 million Beetles had been produced by the time production came to an end in 2003, an auto industry record and the silhouette of that instantly-recognizable rounded body hardly changed through it all. This is an R/C model assembly kit of the 1967 version of the car, which is widely lauded as one of its greatest versions. The car's unmistakable form is accurately reproduced by the model, and includes metal-plated parts such as the front/rear bumpers and light cases and side mirrors. It runs on the M-06 chassis, which just like the real car runs on a rear-mounted motor and with rear-wheel drive.

Improved RR Performance from the M-06
The M-06 chassis features a Rear-Mounted Motor, Rear-Drive setup and features a longitudinally-mounted battery pack, with R/C units positioned on either side for optimum balance and a low center of gravity. 4-wheel double wishbone suspension uses metal-plated wheels exactly like those on the real car, equipped with 60D radial tires at the front and 60D super grip tires at the rear. In addition, a 3-piece steering linkage offers nimble handling response.

Tamiya is proud to add a new version of the Alpine A110 with an orange Jägermeister livery to our M-06 chassis series. The Alpine A110 was a French compact coupe featuring a lightweight FRP body based upon a steel backbone, rear-wheel drive chassis with the rear-mounted inline-4 engine positioned longitudinally. Production continued from its debut year 1963 until 1977, and the A110 attained fame after victory in the 1971 rally in Monte Carlo. In 1973, this car become the first World Rally champion and its Jägermeister orange livery version achieved a class victory in German circuit races.

Tamiya welcomes an updated version of the Tyrrell P34 Six Wheeler 1977 Argentine GP (previously released as Item 49154 and 58003) with some changes such as side mirrors’ color and marking instruction.

The Tyrrell P34 is known as the distinctive “six-wheeler” Formula One race car and its 1977 Argentine GP version featured a full cowl body design without observation windows at cockpit’s sides.

Tamiya welcomes the Opel Calibra V6 Cliff R/C model based upon the TT-01 Type-E chassis. The Opel Calibra V6 Cliff took part in the 1995 running of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft (DTM) series. Entered by Joest Racing with the driver JJ. Lehto from Finland, the car was powered by a 2.5-liter V6 engine capable of 420 hp. The distinctive, overall black body with the Cliff logo caught people’s eye, and this car showed off strength in the races.

West German manufacturer NSU's Prinz was a highly popular compact car, produced between 1958 and 1973.
This model recreates the Jägermeister-sponsored edition of the NSU TT, a race-oriented variant of the Prinz, of which almost 2,500 examples were built in the late 1960s and early 1970s. It was powered by a variety of inline-4 engines depending upon the spec.

Meister of 1981!
The Ford Zakspeed Turbo Capri Group 5 car featured a 1,427cc four-cylinder DOHC engine matched with a stretched body that was the result of extensive wind-tunnel testing and was far evolved from the original 2-door Capri road version. In the 1981 running of the German Racing Championship (DRM), three years after its initial entry, the car was sponsored by the German auto parts maker Würth and left the rest of the field in its wake as it surged to the Championship.

Now, the legendary machine is recreated by this 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. The wide and low form is accurately reproduced in polycarbonate, including the big overhanging front/rear fenders, and the model also features light cases and the rear wing as separate parts. Mesh wheels are 2-piece, with the rear pair wider than those at the front. Finally, the stylish marking scheme can be replicated using the included marking stickers.

Adaptable TT-02 Chassis offers balanced shaft driven 4WD
The shaft driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, to offer excellent stability. In addition, it features identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is a highly adaptable chassis, as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance settings and 2 tread set-ups in addition to a range of 10 possible gear ratios. This is a special custom (street spec) version of the 1998 Ford Escort, which was most recently released as a WRC car in 2004 (Item 58335). The body depicts the Ford Escort as a customized street version of the WRC car, and is based upon the TT-02 chassis. The actual car was powered by an inline-4 2-liter engine offering 300PS and 50Kgm of torque.

Tamiya is delighted to announce the appearance of another classic racing car on our popular TT-02 chassis, this time the Audi V8 touring car with a 456hp 3.6-liter V8 which graced the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) in 1991. That season, it took four victories overall and carried Frank Biela to the drivers’ title.

The BRZ – Subaru’s first rear-wheel drive sports car, which debuted in 2012 - welcomed a second model in April, 2021.

With the basic style carried over, the body features the low center of gravity with a 2.4-liter horizontally opposed four-cylinder boxer engine capable of 235hp. Drive an Icon!
The iconic Escort was manufactured between 1968 and 2004 by Ford Europe. The Mk.II was produced from 1975 to 1980, a front-engine, rear-wheel drive car with a classic boxy body. The RS1800 was fitted with a high performance DOHC 4-cylinder engine and became the base for a successful works team rally car that secured Manufacturers' and Drivers' championships in 1979.

Now, this rally legend is recreated in an R/C model assembly kit, with a polycarbonate body accurately capturing the ageless style. Based upon the versatile MF-01X chassis, it will provide plenty of fun on both road and dirt surfaces.

MF-01X - Compact 4WD At Home on a Range of Surfaces
Based around a tough monocoque frame with integrated gearboxes, this compact 4WD chassis gives a thrilling drive whether you take it on road or flat dirt surfaces. It features a rear-mounted motor, with gear-driven rear wheels and a propeller shaft taking power to the front. Both front and rear gearboxes have differential gears.

The battery pack location in the chassis center secures excellent balance, while 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension employs friction dampers. Off-road capable M-05Ra chassis uprights and hub carriers are also included, and 8-spoke wheels are paired with rally block tires.

This kit provides a new set of markings for the classic 190 E 2.5-16 Evo.II body, this time allowing you to kit it out in the colors of the Team Zakspeed car which ran in the 1991 DTM; in races 6 and 7 of the season the no.20 car was piloted by a young Michael Schumacher.

Motoring Icon
This is an R/C model assembly kit of a true legend in the motoring world, the long-selling Citroën 2CV. Many versions were released in its 40-plus year manufacturing run, including the Charleston, which had a fetching 2-tone color scheme.

A polycarbonate body accurately captures the 2CV's distinctive features such as the front and rear fenders, rounded bonnet and more. Separate metal-plated parts recreate headlights, side mirrors and front bumper for superb realism. Marking stickers are included to depict various features such as body side graphics. Painting the roof with the Tamiya Color flat clear gives it an even more realistic canvas-like appearance.

M-05: Low Center of Gravity, High Performance!
The front wheel drive M-05 chassis features a lightweight, narrow, durable, and easy-assembly semi-monocoque resin frame. Gearbox, motor, battery pack, receiver, servo and ESC are positioned for optimum weight distribution and a low center of gravity. Ground-hugging 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension and the 3-piece steering linkage provide stable high-speed cornering. Retro plated wheels have tires with realistic tread patterns.

Tamiya is delighted to announce the release of this model, which sees the classic Lancia 037 Rally body (previously used in Items 58040 and 58278) paired with the evergreen TA02 chassis' short wheelbase variant.
The 037 Rally was Lancia's 1983 Group B WRC offering and took a 1-2 at the Monte-Carlo Rally as it romped to that year's manufacturers' championship. Its dashing body design was the work of the renowned artists at Pininfarina, and the highly distinctive shell retains popularity even today.

A Classic Returns!
1992 was another great year of racing in the German Touring Car Championship (DTM), with rival cars from major makers Mercedes-Benz, Audi and BMW taking one another on.

This R/C model assembly kit depicts the Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 EVO.II car fielded in 1992 by Team Zakspeed. It features an accurate polycarbonate body reproduction of the 190 E form with overfenders and front spoiler, plus separate polycarbonate wing parts. Metal-plated components recreate the famed Mercedes emblem and front grille, with separately molded plastic parts depicting side mirrors. Stickers are included to depict numerous logos (including main sponsor Diebels Alt), car numbers and more!

Evolved Chassis
The bathtub frame of the evolved shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its motor and battery close to the ground for lower center of gravity and optimum balance. Mounted on the bathtub frame is a fiberglass reinforced nylon upper deck and gear covers improving rigidity, as well as a 3-piece tie rod providing smooth steering action.

The low center of gravity, highly balanced design, 4 wheel double wishbone suspension system, and front and rear differential gears all come together to produce an excellent drive. Gold color 6-spoke wheels are paired with racing slick tires for the finishing touch, while a host of Hop-Up Option parts are available to soup up the TT-01 Type-E!
